need to do is type in the leaders pack name, e.g. Baloo
then add @2ndbracknell.co.uk. Failing that, click on Contact
us and complete our enquiry form.

Programme
Summer Camp 2012
We're already planning our summer camp for 2012 and it
will be one to remember. We're taking the Cubs to camp on
the Channel Island of Jersey. We'll be camping from Saturday
22 to Saturday 29 July and you can now get your name on the
list. We've got a lot of planning to do and so are asking
for deposits of £50 to reserve your place. The total cost of
camp will be £225 which of course includes all transport,
camp fees, food and excursions when we get to Jersey. We're
very excited about it and hope you will be too. For more
information and the reply slip please see the
camp flyer.
Beaver & Cub County Fun Day, 30 September
Beavers and Cubs from all over Royal Berkshire will be
coming together for an action packed activity day in
September. It sounds a long way away but organising a whole
county of Beavers and Cubs takes a bit of time and so we are
asking you to reserve your place by Friday 9 March.
We'll collect a £5 deposit at that stage. The full cost is
£12.50, with the balance due by 15 June. We will also be
looking for extra adult helpers on the day. For more
information and the reply slip please see the
flyer.
The County is also looking for you to design the special
badge that will be given to everybody that attends the
event. The deadline for this is Friday 2 March and
you'll need to enter using the
special form.
Group
T-Shirts
The Cub Uniform includes an optional
green polo shirt but we would prefer you to wear our blue
group T-shirt. Cub sized shirts cost £6.50 each
and are ideal for wear in the Summer Term instead of your
sweatshirt.
Fund raising the easy way
We can earn commission on things you buy online if you go
through our online eStore at
spendandraise.com/2ndbracknell. You'll find over 1000
retailers there including M&S, Expedia, play.com, Amazon, Thorntons,
Debenhams and
John Lewis. You
pay the normal online price which is generally less than on
the High Street so you can raise money for us and still save
money. For more information please visit our
fund raising page.
New to Cubs?
If you are
new to Cubs you may find our
Welcome Guide useful. We also have some
frequently
asked questions such as what is the Law and Promise and a
chart to show where the badges go.
Scout Shop
If you need uniform then the Scout Shop is the place to
go. The
Scout Shop page has more details and includes
a map showing how to get there.
e-notes
We try to provide electronic copies of our notes
when possible. We call them e-notes
and you'll find a list of the current ones on the
menu bar at the left of the page. All of these
notes are in Word format.
Badge Requirements
We don't publish the requirements for badges on our
site. To find the appropriate links to Scoutbase see the
"Badges & Awards" link at the left of each
page.
