Following some uncertainty about the red nose day sponsored walk we can now confirm that all is well and it will run as previously advertised. We hope that you will be able to come - details below:

On Sunday 11th March, the District have organised a sponsored walk of approximately six miles in Windsor Great Park, as part of the Centenary Celebrations. This event is open to all sections, and is intended to raise some cash for Red Nose Day, but more importantly to raise the profile of Scouting! The intention is to start and finish at Queen Ann Gate, which is at the Windsor end of the park. The start time is 10.30 and the finish time will be approximately 2.30, and soup will be available during the walk at Bears Rail campsite. Sponsorship forms are available from your leader or can be downloaded (see www.2ndbracknell.co.uk/cubs.htm).  As this is part of the Centenary Celebrations all those taking part will earn the Centenary Join in badge.

After some problems where the walk clashed with the Queen going to church we are pleased to be able to confirm that the arrangements listed here are correct and the walk will take place on the date and time we suggest. The route has been changed to avoid the Queen.
We hope to see you there. If you are planning to come please let us know as soon as possible as we have to give the District an idea of numbers.

JUNGLE CAMP
The e-mails have been flying since we issued details about the Jungle Adventure camp in June. Places are filling up fast so if you would like to reserve your place then you'll need to get that slip in as soon as possible. See the Spring Term update for more information.

SUMMER CAMP
Just another reminder that our lists close on 28 February. As in previous years we are offering the full week or a half week mini-camp. More details at
http://www.2ndbracknell.co.uk/events/SumCamp07.htm

CENTENARY BADGE
Have you got your 100 years of Scouting badge yet? If not, they cost £1 and are available from your leaders.

SCOUTING 50p
Keep your eyes open when you get your change. As part of the centenary celebrations the Royal Mint

Information Exchange
We always worry that our carefully prepared notes and letters do not always get home. We try to get around that by having e-notes available on this site. They are electronic copies of the same notes that we give out on a pack night. If you lose your note you can therefore print off a new copy so that you don't miss out on the information. We provide e-notes in Word format.
In addition to this we also have our e-Newsletter which is sent to the Information Exchange mailing list. By sending Akela your e-mail address you can make sure that your inbox is kept up to date with the latest information. We've now introduced a facility where you can do this online. Just visit the
Information Exchange page for more details.
