Fund raising the easy way
Like all organisations, 2nd Bracknell needs money to run the
hall and generally pay the bills. Normally we get this
from our members through their subscriptions, Gift Aid,
raffle tickets and fund raising events such as sponsored
walks and jumble sales. This is all very well but it
normally results in the same parents digging deep into their
own pockets. We thought that there must be a better way.
Buy.at
We have joined an affiliate network. This sounds technical
but basically all it means is that we get commission for
things that you buy online. You pay the normal online price
which is generally less than on the High Street so you can
raise money for us and still save money. There isn't a catch
but you have to remember to start your shopping through our
shopping page. We earn commission on things you buy online if you go
through our online shop at
http://buy.at/2ndbracknell. You'll find around 100
retailers there including M&S, Comet, CD-wow, Amazon, John
Lewis, Cotton Traders, Thorntons, Early Learning Centre and Field & Trek. You can see what shops are popular
with 2nd Bracknell shoppers on our
commission earned graph. You'll find links to our "buy.at"
shop on all the pages on our site.
Here is just a selection of some of the retailers that you
can shop with and earn us money.

It isn't just shops - there are flights, holiday cottages,
brochures and car hire too. See the
travel section for more information.
Keep up to date with all the latest bargains and offers with
the
buy.at Newsletter.

Shopping offers through our buy.at page
There are lots of offers available that make shopping
online even better value. Keep up to date
with online shopping bargains - we check
VoucherCodes.org
for the latest deals. Don't forget that you must start
from our buy.at page for us to earn commission on your
purchase.
Finally, an offer for you if you travel by train and buy
food on railway stations. It isn't through our shop so we
don't make on this deal but you can get a 20% discount at
food shops like Pumpkin, Upper Crust, Burger King and
Millies on stations if you get a free
Bite card
Please note that 2nd Bracknell Scout Group is not in a
position to recommend any of these merchants |
