Fund raising the easy way
Like all organisations, 2nd Bracknell needs money to run the hall and generally pay the bills.  Normally we get this from our members through their subscriptions, Gift Aid, raffle tickets and fund raising events such as sponsored walks and jumble sales. This is all very well but it normally results in the same parents digging deep into their own pockets. We thought that there must be a better way.

Spend and Raise
We have joined an affiliate network. This sounds technical but basically all it means is that we get commission for things that you buy online. You pay the normal online price which is generally less than on the High Street so you can raise money for us and still save money.
You can now earn a commission for us when you shop online with 1000 retailers from the convenience of your own home at no extra cost to you.
In order to earn us commission with your online shopping, simply click through to a retailer’s website from our eStore, spendandraise.com/2ndbracknell. You'll briefly see a page which tells you that you’re leaving Spend and Raise and entering the retailer’s website. After that, you browse and shop as usual. If you make a purchase, commission is generated and given back to our eStore. To find out how much commission you can earn for each retailer, visit the ‘Retailer A-Z’ on the site. Remember that it can sometimes take a few days for the commission to show in our shop.

Bite card
Finally, an offer for you if you travel by train and buy food on railway stations. It isn't through our shop so we don't make on this deal but you can get a 20% discount at food shops like Pumpkin, Upper Crust, Burger King and Millies on stations if you get a free Bite card

Please note that 2nd Bracknell Scout Group is not in a position to recommend any of these merchants
